All woven fabrics are created by crossing the warp and weft threads.

First, the optimal weft thread is strictly selected from amidst numerous types and matched with other threads, with all sorts of adjustments like changing the thickness, to consider the weft that best matches each kind of woven fabric. The warp thread is also chosen from amidst selections like Daruma Ito thread spun on a zaguri reel, richly textured tsumugi spun silk thread, and kinshi golden thread to maximally bring out the feeling of the material.

We immerse ourselves in daily research and experiments without being boxed in by old Nishijin standards, as exemplified by our woven fabrics with a totally new feel that interweave different materials.
