Our seventh head, Teiichiro Saito, was also an antique kogire fabric collector.

It was the experience of seeing the sophisticated aesthetic sense and stunning technique of our textile predecessors that lit the desire in his heart to be a bridge to true beauty from the far flung past to the future, and thus started our dyed and woven goods journey.

We study fabric structure and textile materials and stay absolutely faithful to the old techniques in every way possible, recreating in this modern age every aspect up to even the culture and atmosphere of the times in which each piece of fabric was originally born.
